Nationality
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

- Maximum age: 25 years
Age relaxation
- SC / ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- Departmental candidates (Central Govt. civilian employees):
- Relaxation up to 40 years, after 3 years of regular and continuous service.
- Not applicable to PSU / Autonomous / Statutory body employees.
- Widows / divorced / judicially separated women (not remarried):
- Up to 35 years for UR
- Up to 38 years for OBC
- Up to 40 years for SC / ST
Educational qualification
- Must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognised board.
