- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security Service):
- Age between 25 and 40 years

Educational Qualification
(All qualifications must be from recognised universities/institutes. Percentage relaxations apply for SC/ST/PwBD candidates as per notification.)
1. Assistant Manager (RDBS)
- General discipline:
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR
- Post-graduate degree / MBA / PGDM with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR
- Professional qualifications such as CA/CS/CMA/ICWA/PhD as specified in the notification.
- Specialised disciplines (CA, Company Secretary, Finance, Computer/IT, Agriculture Engineering, Plantation & Horticulture, Fisheries, Food Processing, Land Development & Soil Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Media Specialist, Economics):
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- In many cases, a related post-graduate degree with prescribed marks, or professional membership (for example ICAI for CA, ICSI for Company Secretary) is also acceptable.

2. Assistant Manager (Legal Service)
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR
- Master’s degree in Law (LLM) with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
The candidate must be eligible to enroll as an Advocate.
3. Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security Service)
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Commissioned officer with required years of service in Army / Navy / Air Force, or equivalent experience in Police / Paramilitary / Security services, as specified in the notification.

Selection Process – NABARD Assistant Manager Grade A
The selection process has three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Phase I) – Online objective test used for screening.
- Main Examination (Phase II) – Objective and descriptive papers, depending on discipline.
- Interview – For candidates shortlisted from Phase II.
Final selection will be based on marks of Main Exam + Interview only.
