SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025: Download Tier-I Exam Admit Card

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam 2025 for the recruitment of 3131 Group C posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc.

APSC JAA Exam 2025 Details

  • Name of exam: Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, 2025
  • Name of posts: Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Data Entry Operator (DEO), Data Entry Operator, Grade “A”
  • No of posts: 3131 posts (approx.)
  • Pay Scale:
    • Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200)
    • Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300)
    • Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)

Educational Qualification

  • Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
  • LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Other Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01st January 2026 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2008 are eligible to apply.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PWD: 10 years
    • PWD (OBC): 13 years
    • PWD (SC/ ST): 15 years
    • ESM: 3 years

  5. Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.
  6. At the end, take a print out of the application form.

  • Starting date of submission of online application: 23rd June 2025
  • Last date of submission of online application: 18th July 2025
  • Schedule of Tier-I (Computer Based Examination): 12th November 2025 onwards

Tier I (Computer Based Examination)

  • The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English, Hindi and any language opted by the candidate in the application form.
  • Type of questions: Questions will be Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions.

  • Negative marking: There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Tier II (Computer Based Examination)

  • Candidates who qualify for SSC CHSL Tier I will have to appear in SSC CHSL Tier II, which consists of two sessions, each with specific sections.
