Cotton University Junior Assistant Salary
Selected candidates will receive salary in the following pay band:
- Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 per month
- Grade Pay: ₹8,700
Other allowances will be admissible as per university and state government norms.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a graduate degree from a UGC recognised university.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Experience in Government offices or reputed institutions of higher education / research
- Good command over English and Assamese (speaking, reading and writing)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in an office environment
- Working knowledge of computers and standard office software
Age Limit
- Upper age limit will be as per Government of Assam norms
(Govt. O.M. No. ABP.6/2010/5 dated 2nd September 2020, reckoned as on 01.07.2025).
Category-wise age relaxation will be applicable according to the above government order.
