The training will be offered under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended) in association with BOPT, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The programme is for candidates who have passed out in 2023, 2024 or 2025 and are looking for one year of hands-on industry exposure in Guwahati.

About Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati
TRTC Guwahati is a Government of India organisation set up to support the tooling and skill-development needs of industries in the North Eastern Region.
The centre is located at Amingaon Industrial Area, North Guwahati Road and has a modern campus with administrative block, training block, workshops, knowledge centre, staff quarters and hostel facilities.
Eligibility Criteria for TRTC Guwahati Apprenticeship 2025
Educational Qualification
Engineering Graduates (6 seats) – from a Government recognised institute / university in any of the following branches:
- Information Technology: B.E. / B.Tech in Information Technology
- Computer Science & Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
General Graduate – Commerce (3 seats)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a Government recognised institute / university
Note: Only those who have completed their degree in 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible to attend the interview.
Age Limit
- Age criteria have not been specifically mentioned in the notification. Candidates should, however, satisfy norms of the Apprenticeship Act and TRTC guidelines.
Stipend
- Monthly stipend: ₹12,000 (approximately) during the apprenticeship period.
