Eligibility Criteria in Detail

  • Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
  • Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC): Candidates must hold a PRC issued by the Assam government.
  • Gender: Only female candidates are eligible for the ANM course.
  • Age Limit: 17 years to 35 years as on 31 Dec 2026. For Anganwadi Workers, Asha Workers and Trained Dias, the upper age limit is relaxed to 42 years.
  • Educational Qualification: Completion of Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate (if specified by SSUHS).

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The ANM Entrance Examination (ANMEE) 2026 is an OMR‑based written test consisting of 50 multiple‑choice questions. The total marks are 100, with no negative marking.
