Eligibility Criteria in Detail
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC): Candidates must hold a PRC issued by the Assam government.
- Gender: Only female candidates are eligible for the ANM course.
- Age Limit: 17 years to 35 years as on 31 Dec 2026. For Anganwadi Workers, Asha Workers and Trained Dias, the upper age limit is relaxed to 42 years.

The ANM Entrance Examination (ANMEE) 2026 is an OMR‑based written test consisting of 50 multiple‑choice questions. The total marks are 100, with no negative marking.
