Eligibility Criteria for Bank of India Credit Officer
1. MMGS–II Credit Officer
- Age limit:
- Minimum: 25 years
- Maximum: 35 years
- Educational qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute with
- 60% marks or equivalent grade (
- 55% for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD candidates).
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute with
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.
- Out of this, minimum 2 years should be in processing of MSME credit, commercial credit, project finance or mid & large corporate credit in:
- Scheduled public sector banks,
- Scheduled private sector banks,
- Subsidiaries/associates of scheduled commercial banks,
- Public sector or listed financial institutions, or
- Foreign banks.
2. MMGS–III Credit Officer
- Age limit: 28 to 38 years
- Educational qualification:
- Same as MMGS–II – Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- Experience:
- At least 8 years of officer-level experience,
- Out of which 5 years must be in processing of MSME / commercial / project / mid & large credit in the types of banks and institutions mentioned above.
3. SMGS–IV Credit Officer
- Age limit: 30 to 40 years
- Educational qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
AND any one of the following: - MBA / PGDBM, or
- Two-year full-time Master’s degree in any field, or
- CA / CFA / CMA (ICWA) from a recognised institute.
- Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
- Experience:
- At least 8 years of officer-level experience,
- Out of which 5 years should be in MSME, commercial, project, mid & large credit in scheduled banks / financial institutions / foreign banks as specified in the notification.
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Age will be calculated as per the date mentioned in the official advertisement.
