CBSE has released a new notification for 124 Group A, B & C posts for the year 2025.
The recruitment will be done through Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 (DRQ 2026) on an all-India basis and the application process is completely online.

CBSE Vacancy 2025 – Post-wise Details
Group A Posts
1. Assistant Secretary
- Total posts: 8
- Age limit: Up to 35 years
- Essential qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institute.
2. Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics)
- Total posts: 12
- Age limit: Up to 30 years
- Essential qualification:
- Post-graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Desirable:
- B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent
- NET/SLET/NET-JRF
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant field
3. Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Training)
- Total posts: 8
- Age limit: Up to 30 years
- Essential qualification & desirable qualifications: Same as for the Academics post above.
4. Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Skill Education)
- Total posts: 7
- Age limit: Up to 30 years
- Essential / Desirable qualification: Same pattern as the other Assistant Professor & Assistant Director posts – PG degree with 55% marks plus B.Ed./M.Ed., NET/SLET/NET-JRF and Ph.D. preferred.
5. Accounts Officer
- Total posts: 2
- Age limit: Up to 35 years
- Essential qualification (any one of the following):
- Bachelor’s degree with Economics / Commerce / Accounts / Finance / Business Studies / Cost Accounting as one of the subjects, or
- Bachelor’s degree with SAS/JAO(C) or a similar accounts/audit service examination of Central/State Government, or
- Post-graduate degree with the above commerce/finance related subjects, or
- MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA.
- Desirable:
- Experience in accounts, budgeting, internal audit, commercial accounting and fund/investment management.
Group B Posts
6. Superintendent
- Total posts: 27
- Age limit: Up to 30 years
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Working knowledge of computers and common office applications like Windows, MS Office, handling large databases and internet.
7. Junior Translation Officer
- Total posts: 9
- Age limit: Up to 30 years
- Essential qualification (any one of the following combinations):
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject or medium at graduation level, or
- Master’s degree in English with Hindi as compulsory/elective/medium at graduation level, or
- Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi medium and English as compulsory/elective subject, or
- Master’s degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as compulsory/elective subject, or
- Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects (one as medium, other as compulsory/elective).
- Additionally:
- Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi–English–Hindi) or three years’ translation experience in a Central/State Government office or PSU.
Group C Posts
8. Junior Accountant
- Total posts: 16
- Age limit: Up to 27 years
- Qualification:
- 12th pass from a recognised board with any one of these subjects: Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Business Administration, Taxation or Cost Accounting.
- Typing speed: 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.
9. Junior Assistant
- Total posts: 35
- Age limit: Up to 27 years
- Qualification:
- 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
- Typing speed: 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer
(around 10500 / 9000 key depressions per hour with 5 key strokes per word).
Age Relaxation for CBSE Recruitment 2025
Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India rules:
- SC / ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD (UR, including women): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL, including women): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST, including women): 15 years
- Women candidates (where applicable): 10 years

CBSE Recruitment 2025 – Application Fee
The fee is to be paid only through online mode as mentioned in the notification. In short:
- UR / OBC / EWS: Application fee is higher for Group-A posts and slightly lower for Group-B & C posts.
- SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / Women: Only processing charges are taken; no main application fee.
Exact category-wise amount should be checked in the official fee table before making payment.
How to Apply for CBSE Recruitment 2025?
Eligible candidates can submit the form online through the CBSE recruitment portal. Follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official application portal of CBSE (
examinationservices.nic.in) from 2 December 2025 onwards. - Go to the CBSE Recruitment 2025 – DRQ 2026 section.
- Register with a valid email ID and mobile number, if not already registered.
- Log in and fill in your personal, educational and experience details carefully.
- Upload your recent passport-size photo, signature and other required documents in the prescribed format.
- Select the post(s) you are applying for and pay the application/processing fee as per your category.
- Submit the form and download/print the final submitted application for your records.
