Oil India Teacher & Librarian Vacancy 2026 – Post List
The 29 posts are distributed across different roles such as:
- Pre-primary / primary school teachers
- Graduate teachers (TGT level) in subjects like English, Hindi, Assamese, Science, Mathematics and Social Science
- Post-Graduate teachers (PGT level) for senior secondary classes in various subjects
- School Librarian
- Vocational / skill-based instructors (music, arts, physical education or similar – as per official advertisement)

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The minimum qualification varies with the post, but in general:
- Teachers (Primary / TGT level)
- Graduate in the relevant subject from a recognised university
- B.Ed or equivalent teacher training degree
- Minimum prescribed percentage of marks (usually 50% – check notification)
- Preference to candidates with CTET / State TET and teaching experience.
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)
- Master’s degree in the concerned subject with required percentage of marks
- B.Ed or equivalent
- Teaching experience in higher secondary classes is desirable.
- Librarian
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library & Information Science
- Experience of working in a school / institutional library will have advantage.
- Instructors
- Degree / diploma in the relevant discipline (music, arts, physical education, computer, etc.)
- Experience in handling school-level activities in that field.

Age Limit
The upper age limit differs from post to post. In general:
- Teaching & librarian posts: upper age can go up to around 50–55 years
- Instructor / trainer posts: upper age limit is lower (around 30–40 years)
Age will be calculated as on the cut-off date mentioned in the notification, and usual age relaxations for reserved categories will apply as per Government rules.
Salary / Remuneration
Oil India is offering fixed monthly contractual remuneration for these posts.
The amount is different for primary teachers, graduate teachers, post-graduate teachers, librarian and instructors.
- Remuneration is paid on a consolidated basis for the contract period.
- There may be additional benefits like PF / leave as per OIRDS norms.

Selection Process
The selection procedure normally includes:
