Central Silk Board (CSB), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Textiles, has announced a fresh hiring drive for 14 Young Professional posts at Grade‑3 level. The positions are contractual and offer a monthly remuneration of ₹70,000.

Vacancy Overview

The recruitment covers CSB’s central office in Bengaluru as well as its various institutes and units across the country. Assam is represented by two posts – one at CSB‑CMER&TI, Lahdoigarh and another at CSB‑MESSO, Guwahati.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates must not have turned 35 years on or before 1 July 2026.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Chartered Accountant with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the government sector,
  • or MBA/M.Com holder with at least five (5) years’ experience in the government sector.
• Post‑Qualification Experience:
  • Experience in accounting of autonomous bodies,
  • Proficiency with Tally Prime,
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures in government,
  • Scrutiny of TA/DA bills, medical bills and pension claims,
  • Internal audit and statutory compliance.

How to Apply

The application process involves two steps:

1. Download the Annexure‑I form from the CSB website, fill it with accurate personal details, educational qualifications and work experience. Attach self‑attested copies of certificates, experience letters and a current employer’s certificate if applicable.
2. Email the completed application along with all supporting documents to estab2.csb@nic.in. Ensure that the email reaches CSB no later than 7 October 2026. Late submissions will not be entertained.

In addition, online application is available from 8 September 2026 to 7 October 2026. Candidates can download the form and submit it electronically during this window.
