Sibsagar University has announced a recruitment drive for three non‑teaching positions: Controller of Examinations, Deputy Registrar and Deputy Controller of Examinations. The notification outlines the qualifications, experience requirements, pay scales, age limits and application procedure.

Vacancy Details

Controller of Examinations

• Qualification & Experience:
  • A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent).
  • 15 years as Assistant Professor in Academic Level‑11 or above, or
    8 years in Academic Level‑12 and above including Professor/Associate
    Professor, plus experience in educational administration.
  • Or comparable research experience in higher education institutions.
  • Or 15 years of administrative experience with at least 8 years as Deputy
    Controller of Examinations or equivalent.
• Desirable: Experience in university examinations, confidential work handling and computer proficiency.

Deputy Registrar

• Qualification & Experience:
  • A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent).
  • 9 years as Assistant Professor in Academic Level‑10 and above with
    educational administration experience.
  • Or comparable research or higher education experience.
  • Or 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or
    equivalent post.
• Desirable: Computer skills and experience in university/academic/financial administration.

Deputy Controller of Examinations

• Qualification & Experience:
  • A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent).
  • 9 years as Assistant Professor in Academic Level‑10 and above with
    educational administration experience.
  • Or comparable research or higher education experience.
  • Or 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or
    equivalent post.

Application Fee

A non‑refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 2,000 (Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST candidates) must be drawn in favour of the Sibsagar University General Fund and deposited at Sibsagar.

How to Apply

1. Download the application form from the university website.
2. Fill out the form completely, type all details (hand‑written applications are not accepted except for signatures).
3. Prepare four hard copies of the typed application along with supporting documents signed by you.
4. Attach self‑attested copies of certificates and other documents proving age, education, experience etc.
5. Include the Demand Draft as per the fee structure.
6. Send the envelope to:
